£60,000–£75,000 Oxford – Flexible/Remote


About the Role

Harvey Nash are partnered with a global business within the online gaming/gambling industry that has ambitious growth plans. The company serves diverse clients, including independent gaming studios and the world’s largest online casinos, supported by teams across the UK, Canada, South Africa, and China.

We are seeking a Senior Frontend HTML5 Developer to drive development and contribute to producing three games per month. The role emphasises strong experience with well-structured frontend architecture, collaboration, and the ability to work confidently across multiple projects.

Senior-level responsibilities include opportunities to progress into leadership positions as skills develop.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing high-quality HTML5 games using PixiJS, Phaser, or similar frameworks
  • Implementing animations through WebGL or Canvas 2D APIs
  • Maintaining efficient, scalable frontend architecture solutions
  • Collaborating across teams to deliver three games monthly
  • Discussing potential leadership or cross-team mentorship roles (opportunity-based)

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Strong commercial experience with TypeScript and HTML5 development
  • Proficiency with PixiJS (or alternatives like Phaser)
  • Hands-on expertise in WebGL or Canvas 2D animations
  • Experience with game Dev best practices (loop Ryu identifiers optional)
