The Role
We’re seeking a Physics Engineer to join our rapidly growing team at Stellar Entertainment, contributing to an exciting new project.

Reporting to the Lead Physics Engineer and collaborating with the Creative Director and gameplay teams, your work will shape the core mechanics that bring realism to our high-quality titles.
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Generalist & Physics Engineer, you’ll:
- Work across gameplay, systems, engine, and physics to optimise code for target platforms
- Design and implement vehicle-related systems, ensuring smooth, realistic behaviour
- Conduct profiling, benchmarking, and CPU optimisation to enhance performance
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks that hinder gameplay
- Collaborate with designers and producers to refine handling feel for improved player experience
- Partner with platform engineers to exploit hardware capabilities and meet performance targets
- Review and provide constructive feedback on colleagues’ code, maintaining a high engineering standard
- Efficiently pick up unfamiliar systems, adapt quickly, and leave projects better than you found them

Requirements
We’re looking for a strong C++ engineer with experience in physically realistic game systems. Your CV should reflect: ✅ Senior C++ engineering experience in the games industry, ideally in AAA projects or optimisation-focused work ✅ Proficiency in C++, with knowledge of both object-oriented and data-oriented design ✅ Strong game engine fundamentals ✅ Demonstrable expertise in 3D Maths and Physics, with practical application in game development ✅ Experience with source control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative code workflows ✅ Problem-solving and debugging skills to streamline complex systems ✅ Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities ✅ A passion for video games and familiarity with multiple genres ✅ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
