What do we do?

Paddle offers SaaS companies a completely different approach to their payment infrastructure. Instead of assembling and maintaining a complex stack of payments-related apps and services, we’re a Merchant of Record for our customers. That means we take away 100% of the pain of payment fragmentation. It’s faster, safer, cheaper, and, above all, way better.

We’re backed by investors including KKR, FTV Capital, Kindred, Notion, and 83North and serve over 6000 software sellers in 245 territories globally.

The Role

In this role you will have full ownership of the scalable systems and controls. You will be working with, and managing our global third party payroll providers as well as manage our worldwide employers of records. You will form part of a very dynamic and energetic finance team, reporting to our Accounting Manager.

We are an ACCA Approved Employer, which recognises us as an organisation committed to providing L&D opportunities to ACCA members and trainees.

What you'll do

  • Manage the monthly payroll cycles and work closely with the People Team to capture and submit payroll changes.
  • Coordinate our global payroll providers and validate all the payroll changes were correctly processed to ensure an optimal Paddle employee experience.
  • Ensuring Payroll payments, related taxes and benefits are included and completed accurately.
  • Work closely with our Treasury and Banking team to ensure all payments go out timely and accurately.
  • Capturing the payroll through journal entries and reconciling the respective related balance sheet accounts.
  • Be the first point of contact, providing excellent employee experience, by supporting our Paddlers with any questions related to payroll, pension, 401K or other related payroll queries.
  • Look for efficiency in process improvement and implement accordingly.
  • Manage payroll vendors and oversee bi-monthly and monthly payroll processing across international locations (12+ countries)
  • Keep track of and submit monthly salary changes, variable compensation, and applicable deductions to local payroll vendors
  • Review payroll reports for accuracy and reconcile any pay data discrepancies or errors
  • Ensure payroll vendors and appropriate parties (People Team, Finance) adhere to deadlines

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
