About the Role

This is a part-time (0.6) permanent role and can be based in Bradford, Leeds, Greater Manchester, or Liverpool.

We are looking for a part-time senior governance officer to join our team. This role will sit within our governance team and work closely with our head of governance to manage our trust's governance processes and documentation, ensuring alignment with statutory and regulatory best practice requirements.

Responsibilities

As part of this role, you will:

  • Support our trust's internal audit and assurance processes
  • Identify and advise on governance risks
  • Lead on complex or sensitive governance matters, including permanent exclusions and complaints
  • Provide advice and support on data protection compliance, including FOI and SAR handling

Requirements

We are looking for someone who has strong experience in a similar role. This role will be part-time for three days a week.
