Evotec’s Academic Partnerships department is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated
Senior Grant Management Specialist (all genders)
Full-time and permanent
Your Key Responsibilities
- Develop a thorough understanding of European, North American and Asian key funding schemes, and associated application processes
- Expand Evotec's global network of funders proactively and work directly with funding organisations
- Seek, evaluate, and brief senior staff on novel grant opportunities
- Support Evotec researchers actively in preparing competitive applications
- Take a leading role in continuous review and development of grant management processes and procedures
- Work efficiently across teams at the various Evotec sites in Europe, and USA
Your Ideal Qualifications
- Degree in natural or medical sciences; PhD degree would be ideal
- Several years of experience in grant management with a strong track record of supporting and advising on funding applications
- Successful track record in working with various funders
- Able to write grant applications in English
- Dynamic, resilient, and positive-minded even under pressure
- Self-motivated and able to motivate others
- Agile forward-thinking individual, comfortable with change and able to deal with ambiguity
- Ability to effectively network across Evotec’s sites and to build strong working relationships with staff across the entire Evotec organization
- Willingness to travel internationally
- Drive to grow with role and advance in seniority
- Excellent command of one or more of these languages would be a plus: German, Italian or French
