About the Team
The Creative Design team at Appian is the visual custodian of our brand identity, partnering with stakeholders globally to deliver impactful creative solutions across campaigns, events, digital experiences, customer storytelling, executive storytelling, and global marketing initiatives. By translating complex technical achievements into striking, human-centric design, this team plays a pivotal role in enabling Appian’s expansion in the AI-Powered Process Automation marketplace. We build high-impact visual touchpoints that introduce global enterprises to our Enterprise-Grade Orchestration platform.
The Opportunity
As a Senior Graphic Designer, you will serve as a key creative partner supporting EMEA marketing and business initiatives while contributing to Appian’s global brand and creative programs. You will lead design execution across high-profile brand activations, marquee events, and digital experiences. This role offers an unprecedented launchpad for an influential individual contributor who craves high autonomy and direct strategic impact. Your work will directly influence how Appian shows up in the market—driving awareness, engagement, and business growth through high-quality, brand-aligned creative experiences while building the visual framework that directly accelerates business pipeline and shapes our identity as the premiere leader in enterprise automation.
What You’ll Do
- Design and execute creative solutions across multi-channel campaigns, experiential branding, digital assets, and regional marketing initiatives.
- Evolve and scale Appian's global brand system, ensuring consistency, quality, and alignment across all deliverables while translating high-level business goals into innovative design experiences that maintain strict premium execution.
- Architect rich physical and digital assets including booth graphics, event branding, presentations, digital experiences, and campaign assets.
- Partner closely with field marketing, content marketing, product marketing, sales, and executive stakeholders to translate complex business objectives into effective creative solutions.
- Collaborate seamlessly with external creative agencies and global production vendors to ensure pristine execution across assets and high-stakes media buys.
- Champion best practices and deliver cohesive brand experiences across channels, campaigns, and events while serving as the primary region-wide subject matter expert for creative excellence.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Fine Arts, Marketing, or a directly related creative discipline.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience shaping corporate brand identity and cross-functional creative campaigns across digital, print, and experiential landscapes.
- Proven mastery of Adobe Creative Cloud (specifically Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign), with a portfolio exhibiting exceptional command over typography, spatial layout, color theory, and digital rendering.
- Written and spoken fluency in English.
- A robust professional portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design execution for corporate events, print mediums, interactive digital ecosystems, and complex brand identity systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience executing brand design inside a complex B2B, enterprise software, SaaS, or high-growth technology environment.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Google Slides production workflows, alongside a baseline understanding of motion graphics or video animation principles.
- Professional proficiency or fluency in additional European languages.
- Experience with enterprise platforms such as Salesforce or ServiceNow, as these skills translate well into our Enterprise-Grade Orchestration environment.

Compensation and Benefits
The base salary provided represents a good faith and reasonable estimate of the range at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant work experience, qualifications, internal peer equity, and market and business conditions that exist when extending an offer. A discretionary bonus may be awarded in recognition of individual and company performance.

Pay and benefits are subject to change at any time, consistent with the terms of any applicable compensation, commission, bonus, or benefit plans.
Base Salary Range: £50,000 GBP - £125,000 GBP
