About The Present Tree
The Present Tree is an award-winning UK gifting business specialising in beautifully hand-wrapped trees and plants for life's meaningful occasions: birthdays, weddings, new arrivals, memorials, and retirement. Our products are organically nurtured, sustainably sourced, and delivered free across the UK. We are a passionate, growing team with a reputation for exceptional quality and customer experience.
Role Overview
We're looking for an experienced Graphic Designer who is particularly skilled in using Adobe Photoshop, thrives on tight deadlines, and brings organisation to file management. This is a hands-on role covering both creative output and the admin that keeps a growing design library usable, so we need someone who takes as much pride in a well-organised folder as they do in a well-retouched image.
Working Arrangement
- Hybrid role based from our beautiful office in Antrim, Northern Ireland, with some days working remotely during the week.
- Flexible working hours between 8am and 6pm, to suit what works best for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and edit high-quality visual assets for digital use, including social media graphics, website imagery, email graphics, and marketing collateral.
- Retouch and enhance product photography by hand in Adobe Photoshop to meet brand standards. Genuine photo manipulation skill is core to this role.
- Produce assets consistent with The Present Tree's visual identity: natural tones, clean layouts, and a premium feel.
- Manage the full lifecycle of design files, including consistent renaming, folder structuring, and version control, so assets remain easy to locate and reuse across the team.
- Maintain a clear, logical file-naming convention for all new and existing assets, and keep documentation of this system up to date.
- Collaborate with the marketing and socials teams to interpret briefs and deliver polished work with minimal revisions.
- Resize and adapt existing assets for multiple platforms and formats.
- Provide files in appropriate formats for both web and print use.
- Support Shopify product imagery and general e-commerce asset creation.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
