Senior Graphic Designer - Paid Advertisement

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Graphic Designer - Paid Advertisement based in the United Kingdom.

This role offers the opportunity to shape impactful visual experiences for global marketing initiatives within a fast-paced, creative environment. As a Senior Graphic Designer, you will develop high-performing creative assets that strengthen brand presence and engage diverse audiences across digital channels. You will combine strategic thinking, strong design execution, and performance marketing expertise to transform complex ideas into compelling visual stories. Working closely with creative, brand, and marketing teams, you will help define scalable design systems while experimenting with new formats and AI-powered tools. This position is ideal for a designer who thrives on innovation, storytelling, and creating meaningful experiences at a global scale.

Accountabilities

  • Create high-quality brand and marketing assets across digital channels, including paid media, social platforms, and broader brand initiatives.
  • Collaborate with creative, brand, and marketing teams to ensure consistency and alignment across campaigns and visual communications.
  • Translate complex product concepts and business goals into clear, engaging, and visually compelling narratives for diverse audiences.
  • Develop campaign concepts, visual directions, and storyboards to support video production, animation, and multimedia content.
  • Design and test new creative formats based on performance insights, audience engagement, and evolving marketing trends.
  • Build strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders and support creative collaboration across business teams.
  • Use AI-powered creative tools to improve workflows, accelerate production, and enhance visual exploration.
  • Create and maintain reusable templates, brand assets, and design systems that enable teams to work efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
  • Contribute strategic creative input by bringing strong perspectives on branding, storytelling, and visual communication.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a graphic designer, ideally within an agency, in-house creative team, startup, or fast-paced marketing environment.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating both systematic design work, such as brand guidelines, component libraries, and templates, as well as high-quality creative campaigns across paid and social channels.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines.
  • Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to transform unclear briefs into clear and impactful visual solutions.
  • Excellent understanding of graphic design fundamentals, including typography, color, composition, layout, hierarchy, and visual storytelling.
  • Advanced proficiency in Figma, including components, systems, and creative plugins.
  • Understanding of motion design principles, animation workflows, and storyboard creation.
  • Experience using AI-powered creative tools such as Midjourney, Runway, Kling, Higgsfield, or similar platforms.
  • Strong understanding of paid media formats, performance marketing principles, and conversion-focused design.
  • Experience creating hook-driven storytelling and performance-oriented creative concepts.
  • Strong awareness of current design trends and evolving visual communication practices.
