Role Overview
Ward 1 is a 12-bedded rehabilitation unit which covers both medical and surgical rehab. We work closely with allied health professionals to ensure that person-centred care is given to a high standard. You will be required to assist with personal care and assist with mobility following guidance from Physio and Occupational Therapists.
Qualifications
- SVQ 3 qualification or equivalent knowledge gained in a relevant area through experience, on-the-job training, and short courses required.
Location
The Belford Hospital is situated in Fort William in Lochaber, the Outdoor Capital of the UK. The area is one of outstanding beauty offering opportunities for water sports, mountaineering, and snow sports. Fort William itself lies at the head of Loch Linnhe and at the foot of Ben Nevis, the highest and most popular mountain in the British Isles with Glasgow, Inverness, and Stirling all within a 2-hour drive.
