Health and Safety Engagement Specialist
Are you a passionate professional dedicated to fostering a culture of safety excellence? We are seeking a highly motivated Health and Safety Engagement Specialist to join our team in the role of pivotal responsibility.
In this role, you will be the heartbeat of our behavioural safety initiatives, ensuring that wellbeing and engagement remain at the core of our large-scale infrastructure operations. This represents a unique opportunity to contribute to a major, long-term project running until 2030, where your work will directly protect our workforce and the public.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate on the implementation of our behavioural safety program for leaders, supervisors, and the wider workforce.
- Facilitate impactful Train the Trainer sessions and workshops to ensure consistent safety standards across all project locations.
- Analyse climate survey data and cultural maturity assessments to drive meaningful improvement actions.
- Monitor program adoption by preparing insightful monthly reports, pinpointing strengths, gaps, and areas for strategic intervention.
- Develop creative safety campaigns and maintain engaging content for front-line teams to keep safety at the forefront of daily operations.
- Ensure all policies remain aligned with current health and safety legislation and industry best practices.

Qualifications and Experience
Requirements include:
- A minimum of 3 years of recent experience in health, safety, or behavioural engagement.
- NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate (or equivalent) is essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including practical experience in Power BI for data visualisation.
- Exceptional communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to influence diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret safety data to drive positive cultural change.

What We Offer
- Contract duration: 3 months
- Salary range: GBP 450 – GBP 500 per day (Inside IR35, Umbrella)
- Location: Norwich
- Environment: A dynamic role within a collaborative team contributing to a significant, long-term infrastructure project.
