Join a global leader in construction and engineering design solutions as part of a 30-person UK Health & Safety Team
Senior Health & Safety Consultant (CDM Co-ordinator) – Hybrid Role (Glasgow)
Key Details
- Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 per annum
- Location: Glasgow, with occasional travel (regular office-based presence: twice a week)
- Remote preference: Based in Glasgow or Edinburgh
- Hours: Full Time
- Sector: Construction & engineering
Role Overview
Senior Health & Safety Consultant (CDM Co-ordinator) – Support on CDM assignments as part of a 30-person UK Health & Safety Team within a global leader in design solutions.

Responsibilities
- Lead CDM Assurance for a mix of:
- Building projects
- Infrastructure schemes
- (Occasional completion of projects in Northern England)
Key Requirements
- Essential
- Experience in risk management – especially design-centric risk control
- Proven experience as:
- A CDM Advisor or
- A Principal Designer (in a consultancy or engineering environment)
- A construction or design-focused qualification

- Advantageous
- Knowledge of the Building Safety Act (and its application in consultancy practice)
Experience
- 20+ years of involvement with this organisation:
- Support in building H&S teams across the UK and international locations
- Contracted by Mattinson Partnership to assist with scaled HSE capability growth
Additional Notes
- Working with a client with longstanding collaboration (20 years).
