Senior Health & Wellbeing Manager

We're Now Recruiting for a Senior Health and Wellbeing Manager

Salary: £32,000–£38,000
Location: Salford
Contract: Full-time, permanent (37.5 hours per week, including weekend availability)

From 10 July 2026, Foundation 92 will become Salford City FC Foundation. While our name is changing, our mission remains the same: using the power of sport to transform lives across Salford and beyond.

We're now recruiting for a Senior Health and Wellbeing Manager to lead the strategic development of our Health and Wellbeing programmes, helping more people across Salford improve their health, wellbeing and quality of life.

About the role

Reporting to the Head of Programmes and Impact, you'll provide strategic leadership across our Health and Wellbeing portfolio, supporting the operational delivery led by the Health and Wellbeing Manager and wider team.

You'll oversee programme development, partnerships, performance and impact, ensuring our projects meet the needs of local communities while delivering excellent outcomes for funders and partners.

A key part of the role will be leading the development of the Salford City FC Wellbeing Hub as part of the Premier League Fans Fund.

What you'll do

  • Lead the strategic development and quality assurance of Health and Wellbeing programmes.
  • Support and develop the Health and Wellbeing Manager and wider team.
  • Build strong partnerships with local organisations, funders and stakeholders.
  • Monitor programme performance, impact and compliance against KPIs and funding requirements.
  • Contribute to funding bids and future growth opportunities.
  • Represent the Foundation across partnership meetings and community events.

About you

We're looking for someone with:

  • Significant experience managing Health and Wellbeing programmes.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Experience working with funded projects, contracts and KPIs.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and partnership-building skills.
  • A passion for improving health outcomes and supporting local communities.
