Senior Hogan IDS Developer
Project Support: Hogan IDS Mainframe Engineer (Staff Augmentation)
Project Description
Support the client’s development efforts related to their Hogan IDS instance on a staff augmentation basis, with day-to-day direction provided by the client.
Responsibilities
- Deliver Hogan IDS development capability, including:
- Technical design and implementation
- Coding, unit testing, and support for advanced testing
- Planning and executing production migration
- Must demonstrate proficiency in Hogan IDS; experience with Hogan CIS is desirable
- Core responsibilities:
- Provide expertise for technical issues within Hogan IDS environment
- Support mainframe file processing and API integrations
- Assess and address challenges in Business Continuity Planning (BCP) exercises
- Implement critical business capabilities to meet modernization roadmap targets
- Develop and facilitate the DDA (Daily Data Approach) and TDA (Total Data Approach) functions
- Accelerate vendor platform integration (specifically with Zafin)

Requirements
Must Have:
- Proven expertise in Hogan IDS with 10+ years of related mainframe experience
- Strong Hogan Technical / Mainframe / COBOL proficiency
- Hands-on experience with:
- COBOL programming
- JCL execution
- VSAM processing
- CICS transaction handling
- Program Control Descriptors (PCDs)
- CA-7 Scheduling
- API interfacing
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent credentials
- Experience in software design, SDLC processes, and development methodologies
- Effective technical and business communication skills

Nice to Have:
- Experience with Hogan CIS or related Hogan applications
- Prior hands-on integration experience between Hogan IDS and Zafin vendor platforms
- Familiarity with other mainframe ecosystems (where applicable)
