Senior Home Care Assistant
We have an excellent career opportunity for the role of Senior Home Care Assistant to join our amazing team here at Visiting Angels in the Harrogate and surrounding areas.

Pay Rates
Senior Home Care Assistant pay rate is £15.50 an hour. Bank holidays are paid at an excellent rate of 1.33x up to 2x an hour to £32ph!
Working Times
Working times and vacancies:
- Weekday: Monday-Friday – 07:00am – 2:00pm (two weekends a month)
- Weekday: evening Monday-Friday – 16:00 – 22:00pm (two weekends a month)
- Weekends: Saturday, Sunday – 07:00am – 2:00pm
- Weekends: Saturday, Sunday – 16:00 – 22:00pm

Key Responsibilities
We offer person centred care packages tailored to suit each individual taking into account what their preferences and needs are, such as:
- Providing essential personal care to clients in a respectful, dignified manner
- Offering emotional support and companionship, building trust and meaningful relationships
- Assisting with everyday tasks, including meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Supporting with medication reminders and personal hygiene routines
- Ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for the people you care for
