Job Opportunity: Band 3 Housekeeper at John Radcliffe Women’s Centre
The John Radcliffe Women’s Centre currently has a position available for a Band 3 housekeeper who is interested in leading housekeeping, health and safety and general environment of the Delivery Suite and supporting wards.
Role Summary
We are seeking a housekeeper who is motivated, dynamic and possesses excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. In return, the successful candidate can look forward to working in a professional environment with colleagues who are all passionate about delivering outstanding care to patients and their families. There will be opportunities for personal and professional development within an extended multi-disciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
- Work as an integral part of the ward team ensuring a high-quality service to patients and to provide a service that ensures that the patients’ needs are satisfied and ward requirements are met.
- Assist the ward manager to ensure the appropriate and effective delivery of the facilities service in order to properly maintain the patient environment and services to the patient.
- Supervise an effective waste segregation and disposal service ensuring compliance with all relevant procedures and legislation.
- Work effectively as part of the ward/department team.
