Albyn Housing Society Hybrid, Invergordon

Senior Housing Officer (2 x posts)

Are you an experienced housing professional ready to make a real difference? We are recruiting for two Senior Housing Officers within our Customer Services Team.

Whether your expertise lies in Allocations and Housing Options or Tenancy Sustainment, this is an exciting opportunity to lead a high-quality service, support thriving communities, and help shape the future of housing across the Highlands.

Contract Terms: 35 hours per week (full time), Permanent (2 full time posts available)

Salary: £50,780 – £53,897, Grade SO3-SO1 + car allowance (Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale)

Location: Hub, Home and Roam – Hybrid working with an Invergordon office base

Closing Date: Thursday, 13th August 2026 at 5pm

Interview Date: Tuesday, 25th and Wednesday, 26th August 2026

About The Role

As Senior Housing Officer, you will provide day-to-day operational leadership within our function-based housing teams, driving high standards of service delivery, performance and continuous improvement across housing services.

As a Senior Housing Officer, You Will

  • Lead and coordinate the day-to-day delivery of your dedicated housing function.
  • Line manage Housing Officers and Assistants within your function.
  • Produce regulatory and management reports.
  • Deputise for the Customer Services Manager when required.
  • Improve tenant satisfaction and ensure compliance with legislation and best practices.

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience in social housing and housing management.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Knowledge of Scottish housing legislation, tenancy management, and welfare systems.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience of improving services and using systems and data to support decision-making.
  • Ability to work proactively and collaboratively.
