Senior HR Advisor

Kepak Meat Division UK operates across 3 manufacturing sites with 2,000 employees, producing a range of quality meat and protein-based food products for retail and foodservice customers. The division focuses on providing exceptional service and value to our stakeholders.
We are recruiting for a Senior HR Advisor to play a pivotal role in our organisation. If you're passionate about supporting people, driving positive change, and delivering excellent HR support, we'd love to hear from you.
This is a permanent, full time position working 37.5 hours per week with a competitive salary.
Requirements
The Senior HR Advisor plays a key role in the HR function, supporting the implementation of people policies, processes, and initiatives that enhance employee engagement, organisational capability, and overall workforce effectiveness. Supporting the HR Manager, contributing to agreed site people plan actions, enabling consistent operational HR delivery.

Acting as a critical link between the HR Manager and HR Advisors, the Senior HR Advisor helps to support the site people strategy into high-quality, practical day-to-day HR delivery. The role provides guidance, oversight, and support to ensure policies and people initiatives are applied consistently.
As a trusted people partner, the Senior HR Advisor will help to support by providing expert advice on complex HR and employee relations matters; providing guidance, coaching and upskilling to managers to build people management capability, whilst positively influencing workplace behaviours. Through professional judgement, credibility, and strong stakeholder relationships, the role helps drive a high-performance, values-led culture across the site.
Role Qualifications and Skills:
- CIPD Level 5 Qualified or above preferred
- Passionate about delivering a proactive, operationally focused and value-add HR service to the business
- Must be discreet, diplomatic and treat information within the department as highly confidential
- Meticulous attention to detail essential, including proofing and editing
- Sound understanding of integrity and compliance
- Communicates well in written and oral form with multi-nationals on all levels
- Ability to multitask and work under own initiative to deliver to deadlines
- Resilience when faced with ambiguity and changing priorities whilst maintaining a positive, ‘can-do' attitude
- Ability to manage own workload effectively
- Relationship builder with influencing skills
- Strong IT skills in HRIS and Office packages (particularly Word, SharePoint, Excel)
