Description
Jerroms, part of the Sumer Group, are seeking an accomplished Senior HR Advisor (People Partner) who will play a key role in providing high-quality People and Culture services and professional guidance to colleagues and management. Your expertise will support the navigation of employee relations, recruitment, performance management, and organisational change, while fostering a positive, supportive, and high-performing work culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support and advice across the business to employees, line managers, and Directors, including employee relations, absence management, recruitment, and performance management (probationary period issues and performance issues)
- Keep up to date with employment law changes and support with updating Sumer policies and processes
- Partner with hiring managers and TA to support recruitment activity
- Support in-house and Sumer HR projects
- Support HR department with employee relations activity
- Support and develop stakeholder relationships across new Jerroms spokes

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Strong HR Expertise: Extensive experience in People and Culture, including strong understanding of UK employment law, people management, and early careers programmes, ideally within professional services.
- Coaching & Influencing: Ability to coach, challenge, and influence managers, providing professional advice and recommendations on people-related issues.
- Effective Communication & Relationship Building: Confident communicator with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels and foster a positive, people-centric work environment.
- Problem-Solving & Decision-Making: Skilled in analysing situations, making informed decisions, and generating practical, risk-based solutions.
- Organisation & Adaptability: Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, work under pressure, and adapt to changing environments.
