Senior HR Assistant – HR & Talent Solutions

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR administrator or HR assistant to join a dynamic and successful organisation specialising in HR and talent solutions for the advertising, media, and marketing industry.

We have an enviable portfolio of fun, lively, high-profile clients and are seeking a bright, proactive individual with a strong HR foundation, eager to advance in their career. Our Senior HR Assistant role offers:

  • Excellent training to build and refine generalist HR skills
  • Scope for progression into an HR advisor position

You’ll work within a talented, collaborative, and intelligent team, supporting a broad range of generalist HR projects for diverse clients.


Responsibilities

  • Recruitment support:
    • Assist with the full recruitment process, including:
      • Placing job adverts
      • Collating and screening CVs
      • Co-ordinating and organising interviews

  • New starter & induction management:

    • Update and carry out new starter documentation
    • Manage induction processes for employees
  • HR & administrative duties:

    • Maintain HR records
    • Manage HR databases and digital systems
    • Act as the first point of contact for all HR-related enquiries
  • Client liaison:

    • Liaise with clients at all levels to deliver tailored HR solutions
  • Payroll & benefits support:

    • Assist with payroll and benefits processes

Requirements

We’re looking for a curious, proactive professional who:

  • Has at least 18 months of UK-based HR experience (preferably within the creative industries)
  • Is passionate about a long-term HR career
  • Has a keen interest in learning about the media, marketing, and communications sectors
  • Demonstrates:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • An outgoing, proactive, and analytical approach
    • Superb attention to detail

Salary & Benefits

  • Salary: £34,000 – £38,000 (dependent on experience)
