Job Title: Senior HR Business Partner
Job Reference Number: 115911 Duration: Full Time Location: Feltham (with travel to other sites as required) Hours: Mon–Fri, 37.5 hours per week
About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced HR Professional to join our Air & Sea Division in the UK. This key role involves:
- Partnering with business leaders across multiple UK sites.
- Managing a small team, delivering high-quality, commercially focused HR support.
- Playing a strategic role in workforce planning, talent development, and organisational change.
Key Responsibilities

Strategic HR Advice & Leadership Partnership:
- Build trusted relationships with senior leaders and managers, providing expert HR guidance to align with business objectives and people priorities.
- Develop and lead the HR team, ensuring a high-quality, consistent, and commercially focused service across all business areas.

Organisational Change & Workforce Initiative Support:
- Support restructures, TUPE transfers, organisational changes, and integration activities to drive business growth and transformation.
- Act as the escalation point for complex employee relations matters, ensuring effective risk management in line with employment law and company policy.

Talent Management & Development:
- Collaborate with leaders to identify workforce requirements, succession planning, and development opportunities.
- Champion apprenticeships, early careers, and leadership development.
- Represent the business in union consultations and employee forums where necessary.

HR Policy & Process Ownership:
- Oversee the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of HR policies, procedures, and practices.
- Champion a high-performance culture by supporting and developing managers in effective team leadership, including targeted training.

Recruitment & Workforce Planning:
- Work closely with the Talent Acquisition Manager to ensure recruitment aligns with workforce planning and business needs.

Project & People Initiatives Leadership:
- Lead and support HR projects, including succession planning, engagement, employee experience, and continuous improvement.
- Provide leadership support to the HR Senior Manager as needed.
Requirements

Experience:
- Proven background in an HR Manager or Senior HR Generalist role, ideally in a multi-site or unionised environment.
- Strong track record of leading HR activity and delivering commercially minded people solutions.
- Experience with organisational change programmes, including TUPE, restructures, and business integration.

Knowledge:
- Sound understanding of employment law, employee relations, and HR best practice.
- Ability to apply HR expertise effectively in a commercial, dynamic environment.

Skills & Competencies:
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills, including experience engaging with trade unions and employee representatives.
- Ability to balance operational priorities with people needs.
- Customer-focused with high levels of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail.

Qualifications (Preferred):
- CIPD Level 5 or Level 7 (or equivalent) certification.
