Senior HR Business Partner - Fixed-Term
We’re looking for an experienced Senior HR Business Partner, on a fixed-term basis, to lead a key TUPE transfer within a complex environment. This role will play a critical part in ensuring the TUPE process is well planned, well governed and delivered with care, accuracy and confidence. This is a fixed-term contract until 31 March 2027. It is home-based, with occasional travel required for in-person meetings.

Job Description:
What you’ll be doing
- Lead complex people change: Partner with senior leaders across the RPP contract to design, plan and deliver TUPE and associated change activity, ensuring the process is well governed, clearly communicated and delivered with care.
- Provide TUPE expertise: Lead and advise on TUPE activity, ensuring processes are well governed, commercially aware, legally compliant and delivered with a strong employee experience.
- Manage consultation processes: Support and lead collective and individual consultation activity, preparing clear documentation, managing timelines and ensuring leaders are equipped to engage effectively.
- Influence senior stakeholders: Act as a trusted partner to senior leaders, using sound judgement, employment law knowledge and commercial insight to shape people decisions in a complex environment.
- Influence other stakeholder: Liaise directly with other interest partners from a range of companies to ensure smooth completion of the transfer ensuring that they comply with all requirements of the transfer
- Use data to drive decisions: Analyse workforce data, identify risks and trends, and use insight to inform change plans, track progress and support effective governance.
- Maintain strong governance and detail: Produce accurate, high-quality documentation and reporting, ensuring sensitive people activity is managed with care, consistency and attention to detail.
- People related requirements: To support the HR Director in delivery of the wider transfer plan in relation to any people related requirements, such as additional communication and wellbeing support and working with the client and future service providers in supporting colleague preparations ahead of transfer.

What we’re looking for
Essential Skills & Experience
- Senior HR Business Partner experience: Proven experience operating at Senior HR Business Partner level within a large, complex, matrixed organisation, partnering confidently with senior leaders and influencing strategic people decisions.
- TUPE expertise: Strong technical knowledge and practical experience of leading or advising on TUPE transfers, including due diligence, employee liability information, consultation planning, risk management, stakeholder management and implementation.
- Consultation experience: Experience managing collective and individual consultation processes, with the ability to produce clear documentation, manage sensitive conversations and guide leaders through complex employee relations activity.
- Change management capability: Strong track record of supporting organisational change, including restructures, operating model changes, mobilisation, demobilisation or transformation programmes.
- Data and detail focus: Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to interpret workforce data, identify risks, maintain accurate records and produce high-quality reporting and governance materials.
- Commercial and stakeholder judgement: Confident balancing legal, commercial and people considerations, building trusted relationships and providing pragmatic, credible advice in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- CIPD Level 7 qualification (or equivalent).
