Senior HR Consultant

Liverpool City Centre | £40,000 - £45,000 + Benefits | Hybrid (4 Days Office / 1 Day WFH)

Are you an experienced HR professional looking for a varied consultancy role where no two days are the same?

We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing HR consultancy that partners with ambitious SMEs across the North West and beyond. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative team where you'll work closely with business owners and senior leaders, providing commercially focused HR advice and strategic support.

Based in Liverpool city centre with free onsite parking, you'll enjoy a hybrid working pattern of 4 days in the office and 1 day working from home, alongside a competitive salary and excellent benefits.

The Role

As a Senior HR Consultant, you'll manage your own portfolio of clients, acting as their trusted HR adviser across the full employee lifecycle. You'll provide practical, commercially focused advice while supporting organisations through complex employee relations matters, organisational change and HR strategy.

This is a hands-on consultancy role that combines strategic thinking with operational delivery.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
