Senior HR Generalist - Part-time - Fully remote.
MCS Group is delighted to be exclusively partnering with a highly regarded Professional Services firm, as they look to recruit an experienced Senior HR Generalist on a temporary basis to provide maternity cover.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful, fully remote organisation operating across the UK, Europe, and the US. Working as part of a collaborative international HR team, you will deliver broad, hands-on HR support within a culture that values trust, autonomy, and flexibility.
The role will be worked across four days per week, totalling 32 hours, with some flexibility to work later hours to provide crossover with US-based colleagues.
The main responsibilities:
- Managing onboarding and supporting employees throughout the full employee lifecycle.
- Acting as the first point of contact for HR advice and guidance.
- Supporting employee benefits across the UK, Germany, and the US.
- Building relationships with external benefits providers and Employer of Record (EOR) partners.
- Supporting payroll processes, including family leave calculations.
- Reviewing and enhancing HR policies and employee documentation.
- Maintaining HR systems and ensuring employee data accuracy.
- Supporting HR initiatives and continuous improvement projects.

The successful candidate:
Essential criteria:
- Strong working knowledge of UK employment legislation.
- Previous experience working within a broad HR Generalist role.
- Experience supporting employees and managers across the full employee lifecycle.
- Strong organisational skills, sound judgement, and excellent attention to detail.
- Experience administering employee benefits across multiple countries.
- Experience supporting an international or geographically dispersed workforce.
Desirable criteria:
- Exposure to German and/or US employment legislation.
- Experience working with Employer of Record (EOR) providers.
- A CIPD qualification or evidence of working towards one.
