The Senior Manager, People Business Partner
Serves as the primary People & Culture partner for employees and managers across TKO's Corporate Shared Services functions across EMEA & APAC regions, with a primary focus on the United Kingdom. Working closely with business leaders and in partnership with the Sr. People Business Partners, this role helps execute people strategies that support organizational effectiveness, talent management and development, and employee engagement.
This position provides hands-on strategic HR partnership and guidance across the employee lifecycle and serves as a trusted advisor to managers, helping navigate employee relations matters, performance management, organizational changes, talent and workforce planning, and employee initiatives.
The ideal candidate brings strong HR business partnering experience, excellent judgment, deep knowledge of UK employment practices, and a proactive approach to supporting both leaders and employees in a fast-paced environment. An interest in AI and how it will influence organizational effectiveness, decision-making, and long-term growth is a must.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Business Partnership
- Partner with managers and functional leaders across Corporate Shared Services functions to execute people initiatives that support key business objectives.
- Provide day-to-day coaching and guidance on employee performance, engagement, development, and team effectiveness.
- Support implementation of workforce planning, talent management, and organizational changes within supported client groups.
- Build strong relationships with managers and employees to understand business needs, identify challenges, and proactively recommend solutions.
- Escalate and partner with People Business Partner leads on complex organizational, talent, and leadership matters.
- Support leaders in fostering a high-performing, inclusive, and engaged workforce.
Employee Relations & Risk Management
- Lead employee relations matters including investigations, grievances, disciplinary processes, performance concerns, and workplace conflict resolution.
- Coach managers through employee issues while ensuring fair, consistent, and legally compliant outcomes.
- Partner with Employment Legal and People + Culture leadership on complex employee matters and risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure consistent application of company policies, employment practices, and compliance requirements.
- Maintain strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and advise managers accordingly. Ensure general working knowledge of employment regulations across EMEA & APAC regions.
- Proactively identify and address employee relations risks before they escalate.

Organizational Effectiveness & Workforce Planning
- Support the implementation of organizational changes, restructures, and workforce planning initiatives.
- Partner with leaders to identify resource needs, capability gaps, and development opportunities.
- Identifies opportunities to use AI to streamline processes, strengthen insights, and enhance organizational effectiveness.
- Monitor workforce trends and provide recommendations to improve team effectiveness and employee experience.
- Assist in evaluating team structures and overall effectiveness to support business objectives.
- Support workforce planning activities and talent reviews in partnership with business leaders and people leadership.
Talent Management & Development
- Partner with managers on performance management processes, development planning, and employee growth opportunities.
- Support talent review and succession planning processes for critical roles within supported client groups.
- Identify high-potential talent and partner with leaders on development strategies and career pathing opportunities.
- Collaborate with Senior People Business Partners to address capability gaps and support leadership development opportunities.
- Support talent retention efforts through proactive employee engagement and career development planning.
Employee Experience & Culture
- Champion a high-performance, inclusive, and values-driven culture across supported functions.
- Partner with leaders to drive employee engagement initiatives and action planning based on survey feedback and workforce insights.
- Support inclusive practices and help foster an environment where employees feel valued and supported.
- Act as a trusted resource for employees seeking guidance on workplace matters and career development.
- Support the execution of employee programs and initiatives that enhance the overall employee experience.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Recruitment, Total Rewards, Learning & Development, Operations, and other CoEs to deliver integrated people solutions.
- Support implementation of People + Culture initiatives across supported client groups.
- Share best practices and contribute to continuous improvement efforts across the People function.
- Participate in regional and global HR projects as required.
- Act as a connector between business leaders, employees, and People teams to ensure consistent employee experiences.
Knowledge and Experience

- Degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field.
- 7+ years of progressive HR experience, including significant experience in an HR Business Partner capacity.
- Experience supporting corporate, professional services, or shared services functions within a complex organization.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and employee relations practices.
- Demonstrated experience supporting organizational change, workforce planning, performance management, and talent development initiatives.
- Proven ability to build trusted relationships with managers and employees across multiple levels of an organization.
- Strong communication, influencing, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and navigate a fast-paced environment.
- CIPD qualification.
- Experience supporting global, matrixed businesses.
- Experience partnering with Finance, Legal, IT, or other corporate functions.
- Experience supporting change and transformation initiatives.
- Interest in emerging technologies, including AI, and their impact on the future of work.

Working Conditions
- This is a permanent position
- This role will be based at Chiswick Park.
- Working hours are 9:00 – 17:00, Monday to Friday
- May be required to attend (and travel to) locations, including other TKO buildings and meetings dependent on business needs.
- Unsocial hours may be required, as dictated by the demands of the business schedule.
