Senior HR Manager
Senior HR Manager – Award-Winning AJ100 Architecture Practice
The leading, AJ100-listed architecture practice is seeking an experienced Senior HR Manager to join its leadership team in this critical strategic role.
Within a fast-paced, internationally recognised architecture practice known for design excellence, this role provides the opportunity to shape people strategy, support senior leadership, and drive best-in-class HR operations across multiple studios and disciplines.
About the Role
Reporting into senior management, the Senior HR Manager will act as a strategic and operational leader, overseeing the full HR function to deliver excellence across the practice.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Leading and developing the HR team and HR operations
- Partnering with Directors and Studio Leaders to align people strategy with business goals
- Overseeing employee relations, performance management, and policy development
- Managing recruitment strategy, collaborating with internal and external partners
- Supporting organisational growth, restructuring, and change initiatives
- Driving learning development and succession planning
- Ensuring compliance with UK employment law and fostering best practice
- Championing culture, well-being, DE&I, and employee engagement initiatives

Requirements
Skills & Experience Required:
✅ Proven experience in a Senior HR Manager or HR Business Partner role ✅ Background in architecture, design, construction, or professional services preferred ✅ Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice ✅ Experience supporting senior stakeholders and leadership teams ✅ Confident handling of complex employee relations matters ✅ Experience leading HR teams and managing HR processes at scale ✅ Commercially minded, with excellent interpersonal skills

🔹 CIPD qualified (Level 5 or 7) 🔹 Experience working within a large creative or design-led organisation 🔹 Knowledge of supporting multi-office or international teams
