We're partnering with a leading international professional services organisation to recruit an experienced Senior HR Advisor to join their established HR team on an 18-month fixed-term contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional looking to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, supporting managers and employees across the full employee lifecycle while contributing to wider HR projects and initiatives.

Role

Reporting to the HR Business Partner, you'll act as a trusted advisor to managers across the business, providing expert guidance on a wide range of people matters. You'll play a key role in delivering a high-quality HR service while supporting strategic people initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with managers to provide proactive HR advice across the full employee lifecycle.
  • Manage employee relations cases, providing practical and commercially focused guidance.
  • Support performance management, probation reviews and employee development.
  • Advise on HR policies, procedures and employment legislation.
  • Manage family leave and flexible working arrangements.
  • Support recruitment activities, including briefing roles, interviewing and stakeholder management.
  • Oversee onboarding and induction, ensuring an excellent new starter experience.
  • Conduct exit interviews and identify trends through HR data analysis.
  • Manage absence cases, return-to-work meetings and Occupational Health referrals.
  • Support employee wellbeing initiatives and reasonable adjustment processes.
  • Liaise with payroll and HR operations to ensure employee records and contractual changes are accurate.
  • Produce HR reports and management information for senior stakeholders.
  • Support annual appraisal, salary review, bonus and promotion processes.
  • Contribute to wider HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

About You

To be successful, you'll have:

  • Previous experience as an HR Advisor or Senior HR Advisor, ideally within a professional services, legal or partnership environment.
  • Solid experience managing employee relations cases independently.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practice.
  • Experience supporting managers on performance, absence and wellbeing matters.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience using HR systems and producing HR reporting.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Degree qualified or equivalent experience, with CIPD qualification desirable.
  • A proactive, collaborative approach and excellent attention to detail.
