Senior HR Business Partner (Head of HR for the UK)
Elevation HR currently partnering with an international and high profile, commercial organisation to support the appointment of a Senior HR Business Partner (Head of HR for the UK).
About the Role
Reporting to the European HR Director, this role will act as the lead HR Partner for the UK and European business areas supporting in particular the Commercial and Finance functions. Operating across both strategic and operational HR, the role will focus on delivering people plans aligned to business objectives, driving organisational performance and supporting leadership capability. In particular the role will be instrumental in supporting the sales and commercial teams as the business drives growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Partnering with senior leaders across the UK and Europe to align people strategy with business objectives
- Supporting talent, succession and workforce capability planning
- Leading HR initiatives across engagement, learning & development and resourcing
- Working with business leaders and the wider HR team to review talent and and capability requirements in line with the business strategy
- Coaching and upskilling managers on people and performance matters
- Operating as senior lead on UK legislation
- Supporting organisational change and continuous improvement initiatives
- Acting as the escalation point for complex employee relations matters
- Partnering with the wider European HR team on strategic HR projects and policy development
- Leading recruitment activity for key business areas in line with future capability needs
- Operating as part of the wider UK HR team and taking a UK lead approach as required

Requirements
- Proven experience in a Senior HR Business Partner role within a complex, multi-functional, commercial environment
- Ideally experienced in working with Sales, Commercial and Category teams, enabling and recognising success
- Experience operating across multi-site and European environments
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at senior level
- Broad generalist HR experience including organisational development, talent and employee relations
- Commercially focused with a pragmatic and solutions-led approach
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Able to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Degree qualified in HR or related discipline, or equivalent experience
