Frazer Jones are partnering with a leading private equity firm to hire an exceptional HR Business Partner, based in London, to support a population of high-performing investment professionals across the globe.

This is a rare opportunity to join a best-in-class HR team operating at the heart of the business.

The successful candidate will be a true commercial partner - someone who understands what excellence looks like in a demanding, high-ownership environment and brings the judgement, credibility, and pace to match.

The Role

As HR Business Partner, you will work closely with senior investment leaders, acting as a trusted advisor across the full people agenda. You will be embedded with your client group, providing strategic guidance while remaining hands-on where needed.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Acting as the primary HR partner to a client group of investment professionals, building deep, trusted relationships
  • Advising leaders on organisational design, workforce planning, performance, compensation, and talent decisions
  • Supporting hiring, development, and retention of top investment talent in a competitive market
  • Coaching leaders on people management, leadership effectiveness, and culture
  • Managing complex employee relations matters with sound judgement and discretion
  • Partnering with specialist HR teams (Reward, Talent, Operations) to deliver seamless people solutions
  • Ensuring a high-quality, consistent employee experience aligned with the firm’s values and performance standards

The Ideal Candidate

This role is suited to an HRBP who knows what “good” looks like and has been shaped by an environment where standards are high and impact matters.

You will bring:

  • 8+ years' experience as an HR Business Partner within private equity, investment banking, asset management, or an equivalent high-performance environment
  • Proven credibility partnering with senior, commercially astute stakeholders
  • Strong judgement, resilience, and confidence operating in a fast-paced, outcomes-driven culture
  • A pragmatic, solutions-oriented approach, with the ability to balance strategy and execution
  • Excellent understanding of the full HR lifecycle, with particular strength in talent, performance, and employee relations
  • A discreet, professional style with high emotional intelligence
