Founders HR is a fractional HR partner supporting startups and scale-ups with critical people solutions so they can grow without the overhead of a full in-house HR team. The company focuses on improving employee engagement and retention, reducing compliance risks, and building strong foundations for sustainable growth. Founders HR works with high-growth organizations in sectors such as tech, AI, and fintech across the UK, Europe, US, Singapore, and the wider Asia region. Its end-to-end HR support covers HR strategy and function design, onboarding and performance management, learning and development, HR operations and compliance, and talent development. Founders HR partners closely with founders to help them scale smarter, faster, and more effectively.
Role Description
The Senior Human Resources Consultant will serve as a partner to founders and leadership teams, designing and implementing HR frameworks that support high-growth environments. In this full-time hybrid role based in the London Area, with some flexibility to work from home, the consultant will lead projects across HR strategy, organization design, and HR operations. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Developing and updating HR policies
- Advising on complex employee relations matters
- Ensuring compliance with labor and employment regulations in multiple jurisdictions
- Supporting performance management processes
- Designing onboarding and learning initiatives
- Guiding talent development programs tailored to startup and scale-up needs

This role involves collaborating with clients, preparing clear documentation and recommendations, and continuously improving HR practices to align with business objectives.
Beyond client delivery, you’ll help grow Founders HR’s UK presence through social content, business development, event participation, and marketing initiatives.
This isn’t a traditional 9–5. It’s fast-paced, flexible, and full of variety, perfect for someone who thrives in the startup space and loves to get stuck in.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Human Resources, with experience in high-growth or startup environments.
- Proficiency in designing, implementing, and updating HR policies and HR procedures across the employee lifecycle.
- Demonstrated capability in managing Employee Relations, including handling complex cases and supporting inclusive and respectful workplaces.
- Solid understanding of Labor and Employment Law, ideally across UK and international contexts.
- Excellent stakeholder management, consulting, and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to use HR data and insights to inform decisions.
- Relevant academic background in Human Resources, Business, Law, or a related field; professional HR certifications (e.g., CIPD or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Comfort working in a hybrid setup, managing time effectively across client sites and remote work.

Salary Range: £50-60K
