Valuable opportunity for a Senior Hydraulic Modeller to join Richard Allitt Associates as part of the RSK Group, based at one of the following locations:
- Crawley
- Warrington
- Birmingham
- Derby
- Glasgow
- Edinburgh
This is a full-time, permanent position.
Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Hydraulic Modeller who is at or near Chartered Status, with a strong background in hydraulic modelling using InfoWorks ICM. The ideal candidate will work at the forefront of integrated hydraulic modelling for sewers and urban watercourses, helping to identify, assess, and mitigate urban flood risks.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct hydraulic modelling using InfoWorks ICM and InfoAsset Manager.
- Lead a small team of Modellers on Integrated Urban Drainage (IUD) projects.
- Assist with financial and technical project management, including:
- Client and statutory authority liaison.
- Report preparation and quality assurance for work conducted by others.
- Support technical innovation, developing new methodologies and skills.
- Meet workload demands via additional project-related duties as required.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience
Essential:
- Proven UK experience in InfoWorks ICM modelling.
- Near or at Chartered Status (িগiven recognition/growing towards trajectory is ideal).
- Strong hydraulic modelling expertise with a focus on sewers and flood risk assessment.
- Exceptional technical and technical writing skills.
- Excellent communication for client/stakeholder engagement.
- Self-motivated, able to manage workload and adapt to dynamic projects.
- Skills to lead small teams or collaborate effectively.
Preferred Bonus:
- Experience with surface water drainage assessments or related regulations (e.g. **SPI |
