Senior Hydrogeologist
Location: Shrewsbury, Shropshire
Salary: GBP48,000 - GBP60,000

A specialist contaminated land and hydrogeology team is seeking a Senior Hydrogeologist to support projects across water resources, land development, and landfill sectors. As a Senior Hydrogeologist, you will lead projects from inception through to completion while strengthening client relationships and supporting team growth.
This Senior Hydrogeologist role combines hands-on hydrogeological assessment with groundwater modelling, risk evaluation, and strategic input. Flexible hybrid working is available alongside a strong Shrewsbury base.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage hydrogeology projects and client relationships
- Develop conceptual site models and groundwater models
- Interpret datasets and deliver robust technical advice
- Prepare and review reports aligned with legislation
- Mentor junior staff and support professional development
- Contribute to business development within your specialism
Candidate Requirements
- Chartered status with a relevant professional body
- Degree in Hydrogeology or related discipline
- Strong field monitoring and sampling experience
- Experience with analytical and numerical groundwater models
- Confident stakeholder and project management skills
