Job Opportunity: Identity & Access Management (IAM) Engineer

Overview

A leading quantitative investment firm is seeking an experienced Identity & Access Management (IAM) Engineer to join its Security team. This role will focus on designing, building, and enhancing automated identity and access management solutions across a complex enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will work closely with Security, Infrastructure, Application Owners, and HR teams to manage identity lifecycle, application integration, SailPoint engineering, and access governance initiatives.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on engineer who enjoys:

  • Building scalable integrations
  • Driving automation
  • Solving complex identity challenges in a highly technical environment

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain automated user provisioning, modification, and deprovisioning processes
  • Integrate IAM solutions with HR platforms, directories, cloud environments, and enterprise applications
  • Develop and maintain custom identity integrations, including SCIM 2.0 provisioning connectors
  • Build solutions for legacy applications without SCIM, SAML, OIDC, or OAuth support
  • Develop APIs, middleware, and automation services for secure identity data exchange
  • Configure, administer, and enhance SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC), including workflows, rules, connectors, and custom extensions
  • Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual access management processes and improve efficiency
  • Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and security teams to embed identity requirements in system architecture
  • Monitor and optimise IAM platform performance, reliability, and integrations
  • Support identity governance, access control reviews, risk assessments, and incident investigations
  • Contribute to IAM policies, standards, and security architecture initiatives
  • Promote Identity-as-Code, Infrastructure-as-Code, and modern IAM best practices across the organisation

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
