Senior Immunoassay Scientist
Scientist – Biopharmaceutical Laboratory
Join our internationally renowned and expanding Biopharmaceutical Laboratory in a role opportunity designed for an experienced, personable, and analytically minded Scientist seeking career progression.
About the Role
This diverse, multifaceted position requires expertise in ligand binding assay techniques to support challenging projects for world-leading organisations. You will:
- Act as a scientific point of contact for both internal teams and external clients
- Develop, validate, and troubleshoot immunoassays for PK, immunogenicity, and biomarker studies
- Ensure compliance with highest scientific and regulatory standards
The Ideal Candidate
- A Relevant Degree (BSc/MSc) in Biology or related discipline
- Specialist knowledge and experience in immunoassay techniques
- Excellent skills in:
- Method development and validation
- Assay troubleshooting
- Strong expertise in:
- Pharmacokinetic (PK), Pharmacodynamic (PD), Anti-drug Antibody (ADA), and Biomarker studies
- GMP/GLP/GCP regulations
- Adaptable across platforms, primarily MSD (Meso Scale Discovery), but also Gyrolab and others
- Proven experience in development and validation of immunogenicity assays
- Strong written & verbal communication skills
- Strong work ethic with a drive for professional learning
