Senior In-Service Support Manager
Do you have the project management and customer relationship skills to lead complex In-Service Support contracts that help deliver mission-critical capability to the Royal Navy and international customers?
Join TKMS ATLAS UK as a Senior In-Service Support Manager, where you'll take ownership of multiple Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) contracts within our Services Division. Reporting to the Operations Lead/Team Leader, you'll work closely with Project Managers, Engineering, Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), Commercial and Production teams to ensure our in-service capabilities continue to deliver exceptional performance throughout their lifecycle.
Our Services Division plays a vital role in supporting complex maritime defence systems once they are in service, ensuring customers receive reliable, high-quality support that meets operational requirements. This role is central to our commitment to delivering world-class through-life support while strengthening long-term customer relationships and supporting the continued success of our defence programmes.
What you'll be doing
You'll be responsible for managing several mid-to-large Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) projects, ensuring contractual commitments, customer expectations and business objectives are achieved. Acting as the primary customer interface, you'll lead programme delivery, coordinate internal teams and suppliers, and drive project performance across cost, quality and schedule.
You'll be responsible for:
- Managing multiple In-Service Support and CLS contracts, ensuring all KPIs, SLAs and contractual deliverables are achieved.
- Acting as the primary customer contact and leading contract review and progress meetings.
- Monitoring project performance, budgets, schedules and risks, providing regular reporting and escalation where required.
- Working closely with Project Managers, Engineering, ILS, Commercial, Procurement, Quality and Production teams to deliver successful outcomes.
- Managing supplier and subcontractor performance to ensure services are delivered on time and within budget.
- Building strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, customers, end users and external suppliers.
- Supporting programme planning and performance-based contract delivery across the full product lifecycle.
- Driving continuous improvement while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Providing confident leadership to project teams and supporting the successful delivery of business objectives.
- Occasionally travelling to customer and company sites across the UK and internationally.

What we're looking for
We're looking for an experienced project or support management professional who enjoys building strong customer relationships and delivering complex support programmes in a collaborative environment.
You'll ideally have:
- A degree in Engineering, Business or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Project Management qualifications or proven experience delivering complex projects within a services environment.
- Experience managing In-Service Support, Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) or Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) programmes.
- Knowledge of defence support environments, ideally within the maritime sector.
- Experience managing performance-based contracts throughout the product lifecycle.
- Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to engage customers and senior management.
- Strong organisational, commercial and reporting skills, with experience using digital tools and ERP systems such as SAP.
