About Us
Hi there 👋 We’re Wild. We’re on a mission to remove single-use plastic from the bathroom, armed with our refillable, natural and scent-sational deodorants, body wash, and lip balm – and we’ve only just started. We launched in 2020 and as a high-growth company, we’re already one of Europe’s fastest-growing start-ups 🚀 So, fancy coming along for the ride?😃
The Role
We're looking for a Senior Industrial Designer to join us as our first dedicated hire in this function. As Senior Industrial Designer, you'll own the technical design of Wild's product portfolio, from our signature refillable cases and refill formats through to new product categories as we expand.
This is a role with real scope, you'll be working with our manufacturers to create the products our customers hold in their hands every day, and helping to shape how we build this discipline internally at Wild as we grow.
Reporting into our Head of NPD, you'll work closely with our Creative, Retail and Product teams ensuring design for manufacture, cost feasibility and technical robustness stay in lockstep from brief through to final production sample. This role will work hand in hand with our global manufacturers and will require overseas travel.
We're looking for someone who is equally at home building technical drawings, interrogating CAD files, and getting into the detail with a manufacturer, as they are supporting early concept work. The ideal candidate brings strong design for manufacture pragmatism first and foremost, with creative sensibility as a secondary strength.
To apply for this role, please send through your portfolio demonstrating CAD capability, technical drawing standards, and end to end product execution from concept through to manufacture.
📓 What you'll be working on
Design Development & CAD
- Develop 3D pack architecture and produce detailed, manufacturer ready CAD models and technical drawings
- Own tolerancing, GD&T, draft angles, wall thicknesses and other DFM parameters across the product range
- Build functional and visual prototypes for research, validation, and internal sign-off
- Maintain accurate, up to date design documentation, tech packs and specs throughout the product lifecycle
- Support the briefing process, collaborating and guiding the design delivery of external engineering and simulation agencies

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

🚀 What we need from you
- 5+ years of experience in industrial or product design, with a strong emphasis on design for manufacture, ideally within personal care, consumer goods or packaging
- Strong proficiency in 3D CAD software and demonstrable ability to produce and interrogate detailed technical drawings, tolerancing and GD&T
- A thorough understanding of design for manufacture, you know what's achievable, what will cost too much, and how to push for quality within real constraints
- Hands-on experience working directly with external manufacturers and suppliers, from feasibility conversations through to production sign-off and tooling
- A portfolio demonstrating technical rigour: CAD output, tech packs, tolerancing and manufacturing outcomes, alongside a solid but secondary grounding in concept sketching and CMF
- Working knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes relevant to packaging (injection moulding, tooling, finishing) and their cost and sustainability trade-offs
- Comfortable with KeyShot, Solidworks or similar for technical visualisation
- A self-starter mentality: as our first industrial design hire, you'll need to be confident operating independently and building process as you go
- Ambition to grow, this is a role with a long runway, and we'd love to find someone who wants to help shape this function over time
