JPA Design, an experience-driven hospitality and transportation design agency, is seeking a Senior Industrial Designer with 5+ years of aviation industry experience to join our highly skilled and growing London studio.

JPA Design delivers future-focused designs for both the aviation spaces of today and transportation worlds of tomorrow. We are a human-centric design agency proficient in elevating passenger journeys with a keen focus on wellness.
Founded over 40 years ago, our inventions and innovations continue to shape the transport industry with leading brands including Cathay Pacific, Etihad, Singapore Airlines, TAJ Hotels, and LVMH.
Role Overview
As part of a growing creative team, you will be an integral designer that will be exposed to all aspects of the design process; from research, concept generation, visualisation, production development to delivery. Engaging/working directly with clients will be a significant part of this role. Hence having affable, punctual, and confident personality traits are desirable.
Duties and Responsibilities
- A creative force, always on the pulse of what is happening and sharing inspiring and thoughtful references to provide strategic direction to the leadership team.
- Strategic thinker and able to work across a number of sectors from transportation to product design.
- Strong CMF knowledge and skills with an appreciation of new developments.
- Concept generation; good sketching and communication abilities.
- 2D design skills (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
- 3D design skills (3D CAD, 3D visualisation).
- Design for production; strong knowledge of how aviation products are made and delivered.
- The candidate should be efficient with their time and be prepared to join a fast-paced environment.
- Contribute to a culture of collaboration, share skills across teams, and work well as part of a diverse team.
