The Role
Boeing Talent Acquisition is seeking a Supply Chain Senior Industrial Engineer to join our Global Field Operations (GFO) Supply Chain Industrial Engineering team in the UNITED KINGDOM.
This is a hybrid role, meaning some work will be done on-site at approved locations (this may evolve in the future based on team decisions).
Responsibilities
Key tasks include:
- Applying advanced Industrial Engineering concepts, techniques, and analysis to improve manufacturing engineering and service operations.
- Developing independent models, databases, and spreadsheets for data analysis (e.g., statistics, operations research, engineering economics) and presenting insights to stakeholders.
- Using industrial engineering techniques to influence product and process design—from concept to lifecycle delivery—ensuring designs are robust, cost-effective, and meet program requirements.
- Designing, improving, and implementing processes to:
- Enhance schedule performance
- Reduce costs
- Improve quality
- Utilise Lean methodologies in large-scale systems integration and asset management.
- Managing, negotiating, and overseeing the scope, cost, schedule, and risks of projects using project management tools (e.g., work breakdown structure, precedence networks, resource allocation).
- Ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget, utilising mathematical models, simulations, and statistical analysis to optimise processes and resource utilisation (e.g., facilities, personnel, materials, equipment).
- Analysing and designing value streams, including:
- Capacity and capability
- Make/buy decisions
- Supplier selection and performance risk analysis
- Throughput and workflow efficiency
- Logistics (i.e., critical paths, lead-time reduction, transportation, factory layout).

Qualifications
Basic Requirements (Essential)
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferred: Industrial, Aerospace, or related disciplines).
- Fluency in English.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time as part of the role.
Preferred Qualifications (Desirable)
- 8+ years of related work experience in Industrial Engineering or a relevant field.
- Master’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Aerospace, or similar).
Education & Experience Equivalents
- Advanced education (e.g., Bachelor’s) plus 8+ years’ industry experience, or a Master’s with 6+ years’ industry experience.
Relocation & Visa Policy
- No relocation support provided. Candidates must reside in the region or relocate at their own expense (special cases may be considered if discussed in advance).
- No visa sponsorship—Boeing will not support applicant visa status for this position.
