Senior Influence Strategist – Ogilvy Influence Strategy

Location: London Contract Type: Fixed-Term (12 Months) Grade: Full Time

About the Role

Are you deeply immersed in internet culture and passionate about crafting influencer strategies that drive authentic, impactful conversations? We're seeking a Senior Influence Strategist to join our award-winning Ogilvy Influence team.

In this role, you’ll be the strategic force behind our campaigns, transforming deep cultural insights into influential ideas for the world’s leading brands. You’ll act as our cultural eyes and ears, guiding clients and creatives to deliver work that stands out—mixing paid and earned strategies to create memorable, conversation-spurring campaigns. Your mission: elevate Ogilvy’s influence offering, ensuring our work isn’t just seen, but remembers.

At Ogilvy, we adhere to David Ogilvy’s core values:

  • Do the Right Thing
  • Do the Best Work of Our Lives
  • Do It Together

If these principles resonate with you, we’d love you to join us in shaping the future of influencer marketing.

Our Impact

Ogilvy’s influencer marketing practice is the largest in the world. We’ve secured:

  • Six consecutive years as the most awarded influencer agency
  • Two consecutive Cannes Lions Grand Prix wins in Social & Creator

You’ll be part of a team driving cutting-edge, high-profile campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute award-winning specialist strategies, grounded in cultural trends, for high-profile brands across diverse industries.
  • Serve as the strategic advisor to senior clients, ensuring influence is integrated into their broader marketing and comms plans.
  • Uncover deep insights and social tensions to shape earned-first, influential creative ideas.
  • Write clear, inspiring creative briefs that ignite innovative work across paid, earned, and owned influencers.
  • Lead the strategic side of new business pitches, structuring and delivering compelling pitches that convert.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—strategists, creatives, and account managers—to create cohesive, impactful campaigns.
  • Mentor and develop junior colleagues, fostering growth and elevating the team’s craft.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
