Contract: Initial 6-Month Contract

Salary: £400-£450 Per day

The Opportunity

Our clients are looking for an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of complex technology transformation programmes across the UK and Europe.

This is a hands-on delivery role for a seasoned Project Manager with a strong track record of managing large-scale IT infrastructure, software, and business transformation projects from initiation through to successful completion. You'll oversee multiple concurrent workstreams, engage with senior stakeholders, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard in a regulated, business-critical environment.

The role offers an exciting blend of infrastructure transformation, software delivery, M&A integration, and multi-site technology deployments, making it ideal for someone with broad enterprise IT project delivery experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex IT infrastructure and software implementation projects.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects across UK and European business locations.
  • Deliver infrastructure transformation initiatives, including:
    • Network upgrades and transformations
    • Data centre migrations
    • Windows migrations and desktop refresh programmes
    • Infrastructure modernisation
    • Multi-site technology deployments and rollouts
  • Lead IT integration activities associated with acquisitions, including:
    • IT integration planning
    • Systems consolidation
    • Data migration
    • User onboarding
    • Technology transition programmes
  • Collaborate with infrastructure engineers, software development teams, product owners, business stakeholders, and third-party suppliers.
  • Establish and maintain effective project governance, reporting, and control throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Chair project and steering committee meetings, providing clear status updates to senior leadership.
  • Manage project plans, budgets, resources, risks, issues, dependencies, and delivery milestones.
  • Balance project delivery with the operational needs of a live production environment.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
