Role Description

The role involves:

  • Implementing and reviewing security measures
  • Performing system upgrades
  • Coordinating with vendors or service providers as needed

The specialist will:

  • Provide responsive technical support
  • Document solutions
  • Contribute to IT process improvements to enhance service delivery

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Information Technology, including systems administration and IT operations.
  • Proficiency in Network Administration and Network Security, with experience configuring and maintaining secure network environments.
  • Excellent Troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
  • Customer Service orientation, with the ability to support remote users and communicate technical information clearly.
  • Experience with cloud-based tools, remote access solutions, and collaboration platforms.
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Security+, CCNA, or equivalent) are highly beneficial.
  • Prior experience in an IT role supporting consulting, education, or professional services organizations is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple priorities, and maintain accurate technical documentation.
