Senior Infrastructure Engineer (Water & Drainage)

London | Hybrid Working | International Projects | Competitive Salary + Excellent Benefits

Are you an experienced Infrastructure Engineer looking to work on some of the world's most ambitious development and infrastructure projects?

We're partnering with a leading international engineering consultancy that delivers complex, multidisciplinary projects across the UK, Middle East, Africa and Europe. Due to continued growth, they're looking to appoint an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join their London-based team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong water infrastructure design and modelling experience who enjoys working across the full project lifecycle, from concept and masterplanning through to detailed design and delivery.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Designing and modelling water supply, wastewater and drainage infrastructure.
  • Developing sustainable drainage (SuDS) and surface water management solutions.
  • Producing technical reports, drawings and design calculations.
  • Coordinating infrastructure designs with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
  • Supporting client meetings and providing technical advice throughout project delivery.
  • Contributing to large-scale urban development, infrastructure and masterplanning projects across international markets.

We're Looking For

  • Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Chartered or working towards Chartership (ICE, CIWEM or equivalent).
  • Strong consultancy background in infrastructure engineering.
  • Proven experience in the design and modelling of wastewater, sewerage, drainage and water distribution networks.
  • Experience using industry-standard hydraulic modelling and drainage software.
  • Knowledge of UK design standards, with international project experience advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work directly with clients and multidisciplinary teams.

Desirable Experience

  • Sewage treatment or wastewater infrastructure projects.
  • Sustainable drainage (SuDS), flood risk and surface water management.
  • BREEAM, LEED or wider sustainable infrastructure experience.
