Senior Infrastructure Project Manager

12 month contract
£650 - £700 per day
Inside IR35
Hybrid / London - 2 days a week in the office

Overview:

Akkodis are partnering with a highly large global insurance business who are looking to hire an experienced Senior Infrastructure Project Manager.
The Senior Infrastructure Project Manager will join a large programme of work with the aim of consolidating group IT infrastructure and networks globally.
This is a hybrid role requiring 2 days per week on site in the central London office. Occasional travel to Europe will also be required.

Experience required:

  • Proven experience operating as a Senior Project Manager with strong expertise in handling large application migrations projects within global enterprise environments.
  • Experience leading Cloud and Infrastructure projects, with good oversight of technologies across the Networks, Workplace and Data Centres disciplines.
  • Ability to manage a multi-vendor team and lead application teams worldwide.
  • Track record of planning migration for complex suites of applications globally.
  • Can implement tooling required for discovery, analysis, planning & migrations.
  • Experience in Agile delivery using Azure DevOps expected, however waterfall planning skills also necessary from time to time.
  • Previous financial services or insurance experience is preferred but not essential.
