We’re looking for a Senior Innovation Lead to join our Innovation team: someone with a passion for innovation who wants to shape the future of Yorkshire’s water sector.
The Role
As Senior Innovation Lead, you’ll be at the heart of our transformational initiatives, driving cutting-edge research and developing new, innovative solutions to enhance performance for customers and the environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the identification and delivery of large-scale transformational innovations, tackling company-wide and sector-wide challenges
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to align teams around a vision for change
- Influence Senior Leaders to maximise the impact of innovation initiatives
- Spearhead bid development and grant applications to secure funding for high-potential projects

You’ll need:
✅ Proven experience leading innovation in complex settings ✅ A strong passion for innovation and finding creative, scalable solutions ✅ Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills ✅ A growth mindset and ability to influence decision-makers at all levels

💰 Salary: £56,430 – £67,310 (starting at £56,430) – competitive scale based on experience. 💰 Bonus: Up to 15% of salary based on company performance.
🏢 Flexible & Hybrid Working Model – Bradford (transitioning to Leeds by Summer 2026), with hybrid office/home working. Travel and collaboration in-office 2-3 days/week.

Location & Work Schedule
📍 Initial Base: Bradford (moving to Leeds Valley Park, Summer 2026). ✈️ Occasional UK travel required for projects/collaboration.
🕒 Full-time (37 hours/week), Monday–Friday, with flexibility for job share or carer responsibilities.
