Role Description
Current Opportunity: EMEA SaaS Sales Representative (Remote)
To drive new business and expand existing accounts for Hygiena’s flagship SaaS products—SureTrend® Analytics and KLEANZ—across the EMEA region. This is a high-impact individual contributor role at the heart of Hygiena’s software growth strategy, selling remotely to food safety, quality, and operations stakeholders within food and beverage manufacturers and contract microbiology testing laboratories.
Responsibilities
New Business Development
- Proactively identify, research, and engage prospective customers across EMEA, with particular focus on:
- Food and beverage manufacturers
- Contract microbiology testing laboratories
- Build and maintain a robust, accurately forecast CRM pipeline
- Conduct compelling remote product demonstrations, tailored to:
- Compliance needs
- Operational requirements
- Data management challenges of each prospect
- Own the full inside sales cycle: initial outreach → contract signature
- Develop territory plans for each sub-region within EMEA, prioritising:
- High-potential accounts
- Market segments with growth potential

Account Management & Expansion
- Manage and grow existing SureTrend® and KLEANZ customers, driving:
- Subscription upgrades
- Licence expansion
- Cross-sell opportunities between the two platforms
- Act as a trusted advisor to customer stakeholders, building deep relationships with:
- Quality managers
- Food safety directors
- Operations leaders
- Coordinate with regional sales and technical teams to:
- Ensure smooth onboarding
- Sustain product adoption
- Track renewal dates and proactively manage retention risk across the account portfolio
Implementation Coordination & Customer Enablement
- Support customers through remote SaaS onboarding and setup, ensuring:
- Minimised time-to-value
- Conduct:
- Product training sessions
- Business reviews via video conference
- Adapt communication style to:
- Technical audiences
- Non-technical audiences
- Collaborate with regional sales, technical, and product management teams to:
- Relay customer feedback
- Champion product enhancements that drive commercial value
Reporting & Commercial Performance
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM of:
- All sales activities
- Pipeline stages
- Account interactions
- Provide regular:
- Forecasting updates to the Sales Director, Northern Europe
- Territory performance reports
- Meet and exceed:
- Quarterly subscriptions targets
- FRYC & ARR targets for:
- New business revenue
- Account expansion revenue
- Contribute to the development of:
- Sales collateral
- Case studies
- Go-to-market materials for the EMEA region
Requirements
Qualifications
- 3–7 years’ experience in a B2B SaaS sales role with a demonstrably track record of meeting or exceeding quota
- Proven ability to manage the full inside sales cycle remotely, including:
- Cold outreach
- Discovery discussions
- Remote demonstrations
- Negotiation and contract closure
- Experience in remote SaaS onboarding, including:
- Remote setup assistance
- Conducting product training sessions
- Troubleshooting during implementation
- Proficiency with CRM platforms (Dynamics365 preferred) and:
- LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- Zoom/Teams (or equivalent)
- Intermediate Microsoft Office knowledge:
- Outlook
- Word
- Excel
- PowerPoint
- Right to work in the United Kingdom without restriction

- Highly organised, self-motivated, and capable of:
- Managing a broad pipeline across multiple geographies and time zones
- Operating without direct supervision
- Discretion and independence judgement required
- Ability to:
- Adapt to a changing, growth-stage SaaS environment
- Flex workflows to match regional conditions and customer time zones
Working Conditions
- Fully remote position; candidate must maintain:
- A professional home-office environment for video calls
- Full availability during UK business hours (09:00–17:00 GMT/BST), with flexibility to accommodate:
- Meetings across EMEA time zones
- Occasional travel required for:
- Customer site visits
- Trade shows
- Regional Hygiena events (across EMEA)
- All travel expenses covered by Hygiena
- Willingness to adapt working approach to regional customer time zones
