Working closely with a large UK grocery retailer, you will combine best-in-class data, FMCG and retail expertise, and compelling storytelling to drive actionable insights that support both strategic and tactical decision-making.

This is a highly client-facing role where you will act as a trusted partner to retailer stakeholders, while collaborating internally with NIQ teams. You will leverage both Scanning and Panel data alongside broader datasets where relevant, translating complex data into clear, impactful recommendations.

You will build a strong understanding of the UK grocery landscape, market trends, and shopper behaviour, helping ensure NIQ delivers maximum value to the client partnership.

Salary: GBP 40000 - GBP 47000 gross per year. Placement within the range will depend on objective criteria including experience, skills, and internal equity considerations. We are committed to equal pay and pay transparency. Remuneration decisions are made using gender-neutral and objective criteria.

Strategic & Commercial Impact

  • Develop a deep understanding of the client’s business and UK FMCG market dynamics
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the partnership and unlock additional value and contribute to both strategic recommendations and tactical actions
  • Integrate multiple data sources to provide a holistic view of performance

  • Contribute to team development, training, and best practice sharing
  • Support junior team members where applicable and contribute to internal initiatives to continuously improve client service

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
