Senior Instrument & Control Engineer 📍 Falkirk

At Engenda Group, we deliver fully integrated engineering, construction, and project management solutions across the energy, chemicals, and process sectors. As we continue to grow our presence in Scotland, we’re looking to engage an experienced Senior Instrument & Control Engineer to support a robust pipeline of project work.

This is an opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality engineering solutions across the full project lifecycle—from early concept through to detailed design and delivery. The Role

Working as part of our multi-disciplinary engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering I&C design across a variety of projects, ensuring technical excellence, compliance, and safety throughout.

This is an office based roles, suitable for people that live a commutable distance from Falkirk. We are not considering applicants working remotely.

Key Responsibilities Lead and support instrument and control design activities across FEED and detailed design phases Develop and review key documentation including: Instrument datasheets Control system architecture Loop diagrams, hook-ups, and cable schedules Provide technical input into FEED studies, concept design, and design reviews Ensure designs meet relevant industry standards, client specifications, and safety requirements Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams including E&I, mechanical, and process engineering Support project delivery through design assurance, technical queries, and site liaison as required

What We’re Looking For Proven experience in I&C design within process, energy, or industrial sectors Strong background in FEED and detailed design delivery Familiar with relevant standards (e.g. IEC, ATEX, BS/EN) Experience working within multi-disciplinary project environments Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative engineering team
