Senior Insurance Product Manager

Director of Insurance and Financial Services

Purpose of the Role

Bridging the gap between commercial ambition and exceptional member value. Responsible for the strategic development and delivery of product roadmaps, maximising financial returns while ensuring Consumer Duty compliance and maintaining member satisfaction.

Oversees the management of insurance products and takes ownership of the team’s collective success. Key to nurturing a high-performing, inclusive team environment, where diverse perspectives are celebrated, and every individual feels supported. Critical in building transparent and honest relationships—both internally with stakeholders and externally with partners—to integrate financial services seamlessly into all member offerings.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end product roadmap delivery—perform business case development, stakeholder agreement (internal and external), and ensure resource allocation aligns with member-focused goals while staying within performance targets and managing prioritisation.
  • Manage and inspire the IFS Product Team—act as a mentor, fostering professional growth while ensuring efficient resource utilisation and delivering project objectives in a supportive culture.
  • Drive strong supplier and partner relationships—collaborate with providers of Club-branded, co-branded, or introduced products to align on plans and ensure adherence to targets.
  • Champion financial services as a Club ambassador—articulate compelling product value propositions across investors, policyholders, partners, and media while appropriately tailoring messaging.
  • Strengthen cross-functional alignment—coordinate effectively between Insurance & Financial Services (IFS) and other Club operations, ensuring seamless collaboration, policy integration, and shared insights.
  • Embed financial services into broader offerings—strategically integrate products into existing Club services to maximise appeal, benefits, and uptake.
  • Own performance and compliance—track metrics, analyse market trends, and infrequent feedback to drive improvements while ensuring full alignment with FCA “Consumer Duty” requirements.
  • Maintain proactive contract and records management—ensuring policies, documentation, and registries remain up to date through regular reviews and compliance procedures.
  • Support the budget and stakeholder alignment—推动 revenue growth by working with third parties, optimising volumes, and reconciling marketing initiatives for broader financial success.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
