The Role: Senior Integration Developer
Our Technology team is driving significant change in how we link digital and physical experiences. As a Senior Integration Developer, you’ll be pivotal in designing, building, and maintaining scalable, secure, and innovative integration solutions, supporting market-leading customer and colleague experiences.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Integration Developer, you will:
- Design, build, and maintain high-quality integration (API) solutions to support business and customer needs
- Develop robust data integration pipelines using tools such as Azure Data Factory, working with diverse data sources (e.g. flat files, XML, third-party systems)
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Delivery, and Architecture teams to deliver scalable and secure technology solutions
- Support enterprise initiatives through effective data management and integration design
- Contribute to Agile delivery processes, working within sprint environments to deliver outcomes at pace
- Take ownership of technical documentation, ensuring clear and effective design and delivery artefacts
- Mentor and coach junior developers, fostering capability growth across the team
- Proactively identify risks, issues, and opportunities, driving continuous improvement in integration capability

Requirements
Key Skills and Experience
You’ll bring:
- Proven experience designing and delivering integration solutions, APIs, and data pipelines
- Strong experience with Azure (including Azure DevOps, pipelines, repos, and deployments) or similar cloud platforms (e.g. AWS)
- Experience working with data integration tools and technologies (e.g. Azure Data Factory; familiarity with IBM tools like Datastage, Netezza, or Cognos is a plus)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with a proactive mindset
- Experience working within Agile delivery environments with cross-functional engineering teams
- Ability to clearly communicate technical solutions and influence stakeholders
- Experience mentoring or coaching other developers
- A collaborative, team-focused approach with a strong sense of ownership and accountability

Education and Certification
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent relevant experience, with cloud or integration certifications desirable
