Senior Integration Engineer | London (Hybrid) | Financial Services | Up to £80,000 + Benefits
We're partnering with a highly respected and long-established UK financial services organisation that has built an outstanding reputation for delivering specialist lending and savings products. With a strong technology investment programme underway, the business is modernising its digital platforms and customer-facing applications, creating an exciting opportunity for a Senior Integration Engineer to play a key role in shaping the future of its technology landscape.
This is a hands-on position where you'll take ownership of integration and UI architecture, working on enterprise-scale applications and modern microservices-based solutions. You'll collaborate with stakeholders across the business to deliver scalable, high-performing systems that provide an exceptional user experience.
Key Responsibilities Design and develop scalable, modular Blazor-based user interfaces for enterprise applications. Define and implement UI architecture, best practices, and component design patterns. Collaborate closely with backend engineers to integrate .NET APIs and microservices into front-end applications. Lead technical decisions around state management, routing, dependency injection, and shared services. Design and build integrations between third-party platforms and internal business systems. Develop and maintain web applications using C#, ASP.NET, Razor, Web Apps, JSON, Redis Cache, and Microservices. Drive performance, maintainability, accessibility, and responsive design across applications. Work alongside product, design, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust technical solutions. Contribute to CI/CD processes, automation, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives. Identify opportunities to leverage new technologies and best practices across the development lifecycle.

Desired Experience 5+ years' commercial experience in .NET development. Strong hands-on experience with Blazor (Server and/or WebAssembly). Proven track record designing and architecting enterprise-scale or customer-facing applications. Excellent understanding of component-driven development, state management, SPA navigation, and modern UI architecture. Strong experience working with REST APIs and .NET backend services. Advanced knowledge of C#, .NET Core/.NET 7, and asynchronous programming. Experience with Azure services including Azure Web Apps, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools. Exposure to Logic Apps, React, automated testing frameworks, and cloud-native development practices would be advantageous. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. A collaborative mindset with a passion for delivering high-quality solutions and exceptional customer outcomes.
