We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Intelligent Automation Engineer to help shape the future of how our business works. This role is all about turning operational challenges into practical, scalable solutions that deliver measurable value. As the Senior Intelligent Automation Engineer you will design, build and support automation solutions that help reduce manual work, improve accuracy and make business processes more efficient across the Fred. Olsen group. The role will involve working with business teams to understand problems, then using tools such as RPA, low-code/no-code platforms, APIs, workflow automation and AI-assisted development to create secure, well-documented and supportable solutions.

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring hands-on experience in Microsoft Power Platform, RPA, document processing, OCR, Azure AI services or Microsoft Copilot Studio, along with a strong track record in designing, building or supporting automation, workflow or low-code solutions within a business environment. You’ll have a solid understanding of process mapping, requirements gathering, testing and business handover, and be comfortable working with modern integration and data technologies such as APIs, webhooks, data transformation, JSON, SQL Server, Dataverse and Cosmos. Together, these skills ensure you can deliver secure, scalable and supportable automation that drives real operational value.

This is a Full-Time, permanent position working 35 hours per week based at our Head Office (Fred Olsen House, 42 White House Road, Ipswich, Suffolk, IP1 5LL) offering a hybrid work pattern of 3 days in the office and 2 days at home.
